Hi, I'm Daniel

I'm Daniel Bloomberg, and Distinctly Human is my practice. For more than 20 years I've defined complex digital products, internal platforms, service models, and — more recently — AI-enabled workflows for enterprise organizations. Part strategist, part product manager, I turn ambiguous goals into clear scope and value logic, then stay in to own the roadmap, trade-offs, and delivery that turn a definition into a shipped product.

Most of my career was spent inside large-scale transformation. As a Specialist Leader and Specialist Master at Deloitte Digital, I led product strategy and operating-model work on programs forecast to deliver $1.5B in revenue growth and $200M in cost savings through platform consolidation, and product ecosystems serving 250,000+ users. Before that I ran an independent product and design practice for clients including JPMorgan Chase, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Discover, and co-founded a boutique digital agency.

Today, through Distinctly Human, I bring that experience directly into high-stakes initiatives as embedded product leadership, or as a partner who helps define and de-risk the work before it scales. Recent engagements include shaping agentic AI workflows, modernizing a Fortune 500 financial product (a 20% lift in strategic feature enrollment in the first three months), and unifying omnichannel service for a global operator across North America and Europe.

I'm often brought in where ambiguity, delivery risk, or organizational friction are high — where the real problem is that no one has yet made the call on what to build, why it matters, and how value gets realized. I combine product strategy, service design, operating-model and governance design, and AI workflow definition to move a team from swirl to a build-ready decision. On larger efforts I collaborate with a small network of trusted specialists I've worked with for years.
